LaTricia Harper Woods, APR is a member of Counselors Academy’s Executive Committee and is the chair for Counselors Academy’s 2023 Conference.

In addition to her leadership roles for Counselors Academy, Woods is founder of Phoenix-based Mahogany Xan Communications. She frequently presents on a variety of topics that include multicultural communications, diversity in public relations, personal branding and communication strategies.
In 2019, Woods and five other agencies launched The Change Agencies, the first national network of independently owned multicultural and LGBTQ public relations firms. She is the co-author of “A Girlfriend’s Guide to Social Media.”
